1. Data We Collect

When you use MemoTask, we collect and securely store the following information:

  • Client names and phone numbers
  • Job descriptions and service intervals (e.g., "MOT 3 months", "Gas cert 12 months")
  • Reminder dates and scheduling data
  • Your account information (email, phone number used for SMS commands)
  • Billing and transaction history via Stripe

2. How We Protect Your Data

  • Encryption in Transit: All data is encrypted using TLS/SSL during transmission
  • Encryption at Rest: Data is securely stored in Supabase PostgreSQL with industry-standard encryption
  • Access Control: Only authorised systems and personnel can access your data
  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, or license your data to third parties
  • No AI Training: Your data is never used to train artificial intelligence models or for any analytics beyond providing the MemoTask service

3. UK GDPR Compliance

MemoTask is built with UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance as a core principle.

  • You have the right to access your data at any time
  • You have the right to correct or update your data
  • You have the right to request deletion of your data (see "Data Removal" below)
  • Data is processed only for the purpose of delivering MemoTask reminders
  • We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service

4. Data Removal & Right to be Forgotten

You can request complete deletion of your data at any time:

  • Via SMS: Text "REMOVE" or "STOP" to +447463586660 for instant deletion
  • Via Email: Contact admin@memotask.co.uk with your request
  • Processing Time: All data removal requests are completed within 24 hours
  • Complete Deletion: Once deleted, all your client information, reminders, and account data is permanently removed from our systems

5. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted within the EU/UK, ensuring your data remains within GDPR-compliant jurisdictions. We do not transfer data outside the UK/EU without explicit consent.
